the target beauty team expressed a desire to have a booth that stood out from the rest of the vendors, but also represented the brand and beautycon’s themes of inclusivity and individuality.
from that, the concept of a zodiac beauty bar was born.
the result: while working alongside professional astrologer, Rebecca Gordon, a collection of products and accessories based on each zodiac’s characteristics was developed. from there, zodiac iconography and messaging was created, highlighting product recommendations based on one’s astrological sign such as: red lipstick for fiery leos and jet-black smooth eyeliner for rockstar scorpios. the space also had various areas with eye-catching photo moments, all specifically designed with social sharing in mind
